Travelsat Digismart Mk II fully automatic
self seeking 65cm or 85cm satellite dish.

Plug it in, the dish rotates and searches. It finds the satellite automatically. Weight 18Kg
Quick and easy. Easy to install. (Motorised). Set it so that the default satellite is 28E Sky and as soon as you

Question 2. How does the manufacturer recommend fitting it to the roof i.e. how many bolts, sizes etc?
Answer 2. bonding is recommended. It is supplied with a plate that is bonded by a caravan centre,
then 4 bolts are used to fit it.
Question 3. What voltage does it work on? Answer 3. 12V
Question 4. Does it automatically fold down when the caravan to cat power supply is connected?
Answer 4. Down to the installer. When power to receiver is shut off - yes if properly installed.

Tracks while travelling.

The mobilsat is like the type of domes they use on ships. It automatically tracks a
satellite while on the move. While driving, rear seat passengers can watch satellite TV.
The dish is equivalent to a 40cm unit and so it works on 28E (e.g. Sky TV or the BBC) and
it will also work on some of the higher power channels on Astra 1 and Hotbird.
As the vehicle turns, the dish rotates in the dome and tracks the channel.
The control unit is just like a car radio and fits a radio slot. This control unit is also a
satellite receiver. This control unit / receiver simply connects to the dome with a standard satellite
coaxial cable. 12 volts is connected and the control unit is connected to a TV with a lead. All
very simple to set up. The control unit receiver also has an LNB loop through so it could loop
out to a Sky Digibox if required. Many satellites can be tuned in and the menu structure
is simple and easy to use from the remote control provided.
If fitted to an SUV, the dome could be bolted to a small roof rack and quickly fitted for longer trips.
Stationary or moving, it will provide satellite TV in a vehicle.
