The 2Tb drive option has been discontinued for technical reasons.
The VU + Duo, Uno and Ultimo and the Dreambox DM 8000 all have problems with a 2Tb hard drive.
For that reason we think it best to only offer a drive up to 1Tb.
A 1Tb drive does, however, offer a massive amount of storage. With a 1Tb drive installed, 500 hours
of standard defintion programs or up to 250 hours of high definition programs can be recorded.

the Triax Trilink will convert this receiver by providing a UHF outlet, and work with a TV eye system for control.

Option. Astra 1 & Hotbird programming option.

Programming option. Astra 1 and Hotbird. Digital receivers are normally empty of all channels.
You scan them in when you connect to the satellite. We can take the receiver out of the box,
connect it to a dish and tune in two satellites for only £11.75 We then move and arrange the
channels into a logical order. Some good free channels are moved to the start of each satellite.
Channels are moved into their packages. Adult channels are grouped together near the start of
the Hotbird. If you are buying a complete system, this option also helps take some of the work
out of the system setting up process as to tune channels a dish first needs setting up.
The pre-programmed channels are useful to help set up the dish if you are using a budget meter.
You are not on satellite to scan the channels and you cannot find the satellite as there are no
channels scanned in to help you.
A programmed receiver breaks the circle and helps to set up and install a system.
