"I have just received my copy of Motorised Satellite
Video & having played it through, all I can say is SUPERB.
The narrator is interesting & obviously speaks with
knowledge and competence. I look forward to a copy of
the forthcoming second part." (Letter - Croydon).
"You are probably wondering why I'm not asking my local
dealer the above question. The simple answer is that they
can't answer some of my analogue/digital queries. I would
also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your
video - It's about time someone expelled the
'myths and mysteries' of satellite TV and installation
and explained things in plain English. I look forward to part 2."

"The Motorised Satellite Video" has saved me loads of money.
Where I live in Ireland the going rate for fitting a motorised
system is £250. I have fitted my system based totally on
watching The Motorised Satellite Video. It is all working
really well. Please send me Volume 2 so that I can check
my settings and learn how to make the fine adjustments to

Included in the Vol. 2 video,
Some photos now follow of Mike and his C Band 2.4m dish.
These photos were taken in February while filming the C band
section of AVS Sat. Video Vol. 2.
See more of Mike and his system in Vol. 2. Available now.
Mike stands beside
his 2.4m C band dish
The motor is a large horizon to horizon unit
It's not a mesh dish but some holes help reduce wind load
Here we see a close up of the C band feed with C band
LNB and "side kick" KU band "SCT" LNB.
Here you can see the dish tuned to a C band satellite
low on the eastern horizon
Mike makes an adjustment to the "chain drive" gear box.
Finally camera operator Elaine stands beside
the dish to help give an indication
of its size
We also visit "Satellite Solutions" (in Northampton) to
film demonstrations of spectrum analysers
The spectrum analysers also have "Bit Error Rate " measurement
capabilities for digital systems. More expensive units have
colour tubes.
