Buying a fully loaded (programmed) Topfield receiver,

Topfield 5000 CIP pro receiver

This service is available for any motorised dish (excluding Diseqc Motors). If you are buying a system, or
you already have a motorised dish that uses a 36 volt motor. (e.g. Channel Master or Triax
polar mount, 1224 Supermount on a Channel Master dish, Funke, etc.) we can take the Topfield out of its
box and fully program it on one of our demonstration dishes. This would mean that the new programmed
receiver can be connected up by the customer and it will then all the channels will work straight away.
(Providing it is connected to a dish that is properly fitted, set up, and tracking the arc) Usually the
receiver is left on either 1 degree west or Astra at 19 E depending on which is preferred.
It would take a customer about 2 hours (or longer) to program a topfield (since there would be
unfamiliarity with the installation menu system). One of our engineers can program a Technomate in under
2 hours (with practice it becomes quicker) After programming, the channels are then organised in a logical order.
This is what takes the time. We make sure the first channel on every satellite is a clear free to air
unscrambled channel.
All packages are organised together. e.g. AB sat package, French package, Dutch package etc.
Moving all of the channels into a logical order can take days. This programming is ONLY Ł19.95
This service is entirely optional but for mail order customers it can take a great deal of the worry &
uncertainty out of a purchase. (Please note that this service includes programming the receiver set up menus,
programming the digital channel downloads which come with automatic channel naming.
The programmed receiver is supplied without dish positions to be used with any dish.
Only the positions and the limits need to be added. This is a 10 minute job.
This option is ideal if you are buing a full motorised system below and you intend to fit
it yourself. This option helps a great deal.
Detailed installation notes written by use are included and we can talk you through the
installation over the phone.
For international orders, this option has one other worthwhile purpose.
The receiver is fully tested before shipping.

Channel Master 1.8m dish. Very high gain one piece proven design. This motor unit is
exclusive to the Satellite Superstore. Polar mount with aluminum adapter to fit Andrews
(Channel Master) 1.8m dish. Designed and built by the Satellite Superstore.
The polar mount picture above shows a standard 12 inch actuator but we include the HEAVY DUTY
18 inch actuator (also shown above) with this polar mount, - not the standard 12 inch.
The heavy duty actuator is, longer, thicker and much stronger.
The light-weigh (but very strong) aluminum adapter bracket fits onto the back of the Andrews
1.8m dish. The adapter bracket is made of unequal box and uses aluminum welding with bracing
gussets. This gives maximum strength combined with lightness. The lightness puts less strain

joint on the circuit board) I know nothing about them & assumed
he did, he suggested a Humax receiver. I have had that many views
and didn't know whose advice to take. I plumped for the first person
in the satellite book, it was …. NAME WITHHELD…….he said he could
set the whole thing up.

First day - parts didn't turn up

2nd day - instructions didn't turn up

3rd day men didn't turn up

4th day awaiting further parts

The men could not do the job with the parts,
I told ….NAME WITHHELD …to take it down and I'll forget the whole
thing, the man you sent (Vision note. We sent an engineer) knew
everything & did a good job, (Vision comment, nobody knows
everything but it's a nice compliment) it was up & running
the same day. I regret now not using you from the beginning.

I am sending you the Humax receiver to tune in
(Vision note i.e. download all channels and provide a print out
of the lists) he (Vision note, "he" the sales person from the mail
order company) said you would come and set the whole thing up, he
said you would bring a scart lead, any tuning in fee you require,
he said he would take car of the cost as I have paid the original
price, sorry for any inconvenience
